Hark! The Martin Family's Schemes!

I can still remember the excitement of crawling into our big blue van and listening to my siblings argue during Christmas Eve "pajama rides". This year we decided to torture Zoey by putting her in her long-jons and taking her to see lights.

The little booger, however, had an alternate plan. It was called Scream Fest 2011.

Somehow our only-child-who-is-smothered-because-her-parents-wanted-her-for-so-long-before-they-got-her survived Christmas Eve and made it through Christmas morning, where she promptly slept through all the gift-opening (smart girl).

This included her dad's wild eyes at the sight of this box. ($20 goes to whoever can guess why he looks so excited:)

After Christmas morning we headed to the Martin side of the fam for the REAL Christmas day (we celebrated several days before our family gathering).

So blessed to be a part of this amazing family where there is so, so much love to share.
