With all the drug-banning around the world, you’d think we’d feel safe on our streets. But let your guard down – and that feeling of security might just get you into trouble.
Take, for instance, the 26-year-old Berlin arcade worker. Last week she was probably feeling secure… until someone ordered a cup of coffee and proceeded to threaten her.
With the cup.
"He wasn't going to pour coffee over her, he was going to hit her with the cup," an official reportedly said (www.reuters.com).
Who knew a cup of caffeine could cause such violent tendencies? Clearly we need to ban it.
In any case, I can bet you one of two things happened to that arcade employee: she’s either carrying her own ceramic mug these days, or she’s lobbying politicians for the use of Styrofoam only.

I think banning drugs is clearly not the problem here. There simply needs to be a restriction on drugs that induce anxiety. If more individuals had access to mescaline, and less to caffeine this could have been avoided. The perpetrator would have been too busy noticing the glow from the cash register to freak out!
